Regular check-ups (once every 3-6 months):   

 – Visually check valves and pipe interfaces for gas leaks (can be applied with soapy water, if bubbling is a leak and the main valve needs to be closed immediately and repaired);

– Check whether the wiring is strong and whether the outer layer of the wire is broken to prevent short circuits or poor contact.

Regular testing (once every 6-12 months):

 Manual test: After the power is turned off, observe whether the valve is closed, and whether it is normally opened after the power is switched on, to ensure that the disconnect function is normal;

Test in conjunction with the automatic ignition controller

IFT244: observe whether the alarm triggers the electromagnetically operated valve to close.

Cleaning and maintenance:– Use a dry cloth to wipe the surface of the valve body with dust.

Do not clean with water or a wet cloth to avoid moisture entering the junction box causing a short circuit;–

If the valve is blocked (open / close not smoothly),

It should not be forced to break,

And the valve body should be dismantled after closing the main valve to clean the internal impurities

(Recommended to be operated by a professional).

Life management: gas electromagnetically operated valve service life of 1-5 years,

More than the number of years, even if there is no obvious failure,

Should also replace the new valve, to avoid aging lead to seal failure or functional failure.
