1. Ensure Clean Gas Supply
Contamination is the #1 cause of regulator failure.
- Install a proper gas filter upstream (typically 5–50 μm depending on application)
- Drain condensate regularly (especially for natural gas systems)
- Avoid rust particles, oil, or debris entering the regulator
