2. Maintain Stable Gas Pressure

• Use a high-quality gas regulator

• Check inlet and outlet pressure regularly

• Avoid pressure fluctuation (install pressure gauge)

• Keep gas filter clean to prevent blockage

Unstable pressure = unstable flame.

3. Adjust Air–Gas Ratio Correctly

Correct combustion needs proper air and gas mixing.

• Adjust air damper carefully

• Flame should be:

  • Blue

  • Stable

  • No lifting

  • No black smoke

Too much air → flame weak, low efficiency
Too little air → yellow flame, carbon buildup

Use a combustion analyzer if possible to check:

• O₂ level

• CO level

• Exhaust temperature

4. Keep Ignition System in Good Condition

• Clean ignition electrode

• Check ignition cable insulation

• Ensure correct spark gap

• Replace worn ignition transformer if weak spark

Poor ignition causes flame failure and shutdown.

5. Regular Cleaning and Inspection

Inspect weekly or monthly depending on usage:

• Clean burner head and nozzle

• Remove carbon deposits

• Check flame sensor (UV or ionization probe)

• Inspect gas solenoid valve operation

• Check for gas leakage

Dust and carbon reduce combustion quality.

6. Check Safety Devices

Make sure these are working:

• Gas pressure switch

• Air pressure switch

• Flame detector

• High-temperature limit switch

Never bypass safety devices.

7. Monitor Flame Condition Daily

Normal flame:

• Bright blue

• No vibration

• No unusual noise

If you see:

• Flame pulsation → check air/gas ratio

• Delayed ignition → check ignition system

• Burner frequent shutdown → check flame sensor or gas pressure

8. Keep Proper Operating Environment

• Avoid dust-heavy environment

• Keep control panel dry

• Maintain stable power supply

• Ensure good grounding

9. Follow Preventive Maintenance Plan

Example:

• Daily: Visual flame check

• Weekly: Check pressure and leakage

• Monthly: Clean burner head

• Every 6 months: Full combustion inspection
